Houseperson - Grand Lake Resort
About The Position
The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team at Grand Lake Resort by preparing units for cleaning after guest departures and helping maintain the company’s quality standards. The role handles linen duties and keeps department storage areas organized, maintained, and clean. The Houseperson follows the company safety program and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Global Harmonized System (GHS) chemical regulations. The position supports a clean resort environment for guests by replenishing housekeeping supplies, delivering linens, paper products, amenities, and requested items to units, and assisting with bed-making and cleaning as needed. It also involves removing trash, coordinating linen and amenity bags, processing soiled linen, and maintaining storage-area stock and cleanliness.
Requirements

- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide housekeeping throughout the resort to maintain a clean environment for guests.
- Prepare units for cleaning after guest departures.
- Assist the housekeeping team with supplies and upkeep.
- Deliver linen, paper products, and unit amenities.
- Strip and make beds, and assist with cleaning as needed.
- Remove trash from units and floors.
- Coordinate and create linen and amenities bags.
- Receive, sort, fold, and collect soiled linen.
- Organize, clean, and maintain stock levels in department storage areas according to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Deliver requested items to guest units, such as irons, coffee, paper products, and kitchen utensils.
- Follow the company safety program and OSHA and GHS regulations.
