About The Position

The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards while following the company mission statement and values. The role helps maintain clean, organized resort operations, supports housekeeping tasks and guest needs, and contributes to a safe working environment. The position may involve irregular hours. A valid driver’s license is required for certain locations. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Stock storage closets and maintain their cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
• Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
• Prepare linen and supply bags as directed and deliver them to units.
• Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linen, trash, and equipment.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Move furniture as directed.
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Perform duties related to site operations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintain urgency so units are turned on time and be prompt with assignments and appointments.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
• Assist in resolving guest complaints promptly and build positive customer relations.
• Assist resort guests and owners and make guest deliveries as directed.
• Become knowledgeable about the resort.
