About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor participates in supervising department personnel, fills in when the Executive Housekeeper is absent, and performs a wide variety of housekeeping functions. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, motivated, dependable, able to work independently or as part of a team, and attentive to internal and external deadlines. The role supports housekeeping and laundry staff and helps maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency as required.
Prior experience as a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role.
Customer service experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas, ensuring VIP rooms are inspected as soon as possible.
Assist with leadership and direction for housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.
Train, motivate, and coach staff members in a friendly and nurturing manner.
Submit work orders to the maintenance department.
Ensure operational and safety procedures are followed.
Respond to housekeeping requests from guests or management in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
Perform the work of housekeeping and laundry personnel when necessary.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
