About The Position
The Housekeeping Runner at La Concha Resort delivers guest requests directly to guest rooms and supports housekeeping and room-service-related tasks. The role contributes to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while providing attentive hospitality and keeping up to date with hotel operations, events, and procedures. Requirements
- Hospitality-oriented.
- Able to bend, squat, stretch, and lift up to 60 pounds.
- Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
- Available for overnight shifts beginning at 10:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays.
- Able and willing to perform basic cleaning duties.
- Good communication skills in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation.
- Deliver guest requests directly to guest rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all equipment used.
- Check with the supervisor for special situations requiring immediate attention.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
- Perform room-service steps, including setting up amenities and related tasks.
- Meet quality expectations and standards.
- Stay informed about daily hotel operations, event sheets, bulletin boards, changes, procedures, and events.
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Follow safety and security policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Develop positive working relationships and support the team in achieving common goals.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
- Perform basic cleaning duties.
