About The Position
The Room Attendant helps create comfortable, enjoyable guest experiences by maintaining guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards. This active, high-energy role involves cleaning and preparing rooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining the linen closet and cart. The position requires frequent movement and the ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least one month of related experience.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a diverse team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to stand or sit, walk, bend or twist, climb stairs, and carry or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
- Change linens and make beds.
- Restock guest room supplies, including soap, shampoo, and coffee.
- Organize the linen closet and restock the cart before the end of each shift.
- Greet guests encountered during the shift with a friendly smile.
