About The Position
The Room Attendant helps create enjoyable, comfortable guest experiences by making hotel rooms feel like home. This is a high-energy role involving cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms, replenishing supplies, organizing housekeeping materials, and greeting guests. The position requires frequent movement and the ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least one month of related experience.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ability to work seamlessly with others and collaborate within a diverse team.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to stand or sit, carry or lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend or twist, and climb stairs.
- Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
- Restock guest room supplies, including soap, shampoo, and coffee.
- Organize the linen closet and restock the cart before the end of each shift to prepare for the next day.
- Greet guests encountered during the shift with a friendly smile.
