About The Position

Equinox is seeking a motivated, dependable, hands-on Housekeeping Manager in Training to develop into a leadership position in facility maintenance and housekeeping operations. The position works closely with club leadership to learn daily operations, safety standards, team leadership, inventory management, and facility excellence. This development program is intended to prepare candidates for promotion to Maintenance Manager. Candidates who complete the program and demonstrate strong leadership, operational knowledge, accountability, and performance may have the opportunity to become a Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Knowledge of maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and exercise equipment.
Knowledge and experience with tools.
Knowledge and experience with janitorial cleaning products and OSHA standards.
Ability to utilize new techniques and ideas and solve problems.
Honesty and personal integrity.
Hardworking and diligent.
High sense of urgency around work details.
Legal right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the housekeeping department of a commercial business or fitness setting.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Assist with housekeeping and maintaining club cleanliness and facility standards.
Learn and support daily maintenance operations and procedures.
Conduct facility walkthroughs and identify housekeeping and maintenance concerns.
Support locker room, laundry, and facility floor operations.
Assist with inventory tracking and supply organization.
Learn scheduling, staffing support, and shift management.
Ensure safety protocols and company standards are followed.
Support emergency response and facility issue resolution.
Work alongside leadership to develop management and communication skills.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and staff.
