About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector inspects guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, supplies, and amenities meet HHM and brand standards. The role supports the housekeeping team by maintaining quality standards, coaching associates, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience. It may involve performing or assisting with cleaning duties to support operational needs, maintaining supply inventory, and reporting maintenance issues. The position follows sustainability practices in support of HHM's EarthView program and requires safe work habits and compliance with PPE, MSDS, and OSHA standards.

The work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends. The role requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, kneeling, and bending. The stated growth path is Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet HHM and brand standards.
• Verify guest room supplies, amenities, and linens are fully stocked and properly arranged.
• Coach and support housekeeping associates to ensure work follows hotel and brand standards and HHM core values.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure adequate housekeeping supplies are available.
• Issue supplies, linens, and equipment to housekeeping associates as needed.
• Inspect completed work for quality, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties when necessary to support operational needs.
• Promptly report maintenance issues to the appropriate department and follow up as needed.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices in support of HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Help ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
