About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector ensures guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards. The role includes inspecting rooms, supervising and supporting Room Attendants, coordinating daily assignments, and helping provide guests with a clean and comfortable stay. The inspector also responds to guest requests, reports maintenance concerns, supports team training, and assists with cleaning duties as needed. The schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with availability to work weekends and holidays required. The stated pay is $17 per hour. Full-time associates are eligible for the listed benefits package. Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily for cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with brand standards.
Supervise and support Room Attendants to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to procedures.
Assign daily rooms, distribute keys, and lead pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations.
Identify and report maintenance concerns and verify their completion so rooms are guest-ready.
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns to support guest satisfaction.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of linen rooms, storage areas, and housekeeping carts.
Train and coach team members on cleaning standards, safety practices, and performance expectations.
Monitor room status, maintain key control, and ensure accurate reporting of cleaned rooms.
Assist with cleaning duties as needed to support operations and daily goals.
Promote a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and guest service.
