About The Position

As a Housekeeping Inspector, you help ensure the hotel feels like home and that guests enjoy a comfortable, memorable stay. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example to help the housekeeping department run smoothly. The role combines inspecting and cleaning rooms with staff support, department operations, guest service, and coordination with other hotel departments.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to move continuously and regularly bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

Open and/or close the department each day and report room status to the front desk.
Train, supervise, motivate, and recognize housekeeping staff.
Assist with laundry operations, inventory, ordering, lost and found, and scheduling.
Inspect and/or clean multiple rooms each day.
Greet and assist guests in a friendly manner.
Report broken, defective, or missing items to support the maintenance team.
Work collaboratively with all departments to support hotel goals.
