About The Position

Housekeeping Aides help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for long-term and short-term residents and guests at The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation. The role follows established procedures to care for and clean resident rooms and common areas, contributing to residents’ well-being and sense of being at home. This is a full-time position with eight-hour day shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak and understand English to communicate with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, mop tile floors, and spot-clean walls and windows.
• Dust furniture; empty trash cans; and clean baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
• Honor additional housekeeping requests made by residents during the allotted time.
• Help pick up trash and set up activity rooms, including moving furniture.
• Report pertinent information to management that relates directly to residents’ well-being.
• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as necessary.
