About The Position

The part-time Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms according to company guidelines and procedures and demonstrating a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates. The role includes maintaining housekeeping carts, cart rooms, laundry areas, and overall hotel cleanliness; responding to guest requests when reasonable and practical; and following safety and security procedures. The associate may be asked to travel to additional locations within a reasonable geographic area.

Requirements

No prior experience or training is necessary.
Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines, and communicate effectively with the manager and staff.
Follow guidelines and meet time objectives, productivity measurements, and similar company standards and expectations.
Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Clean assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or as directed by management.
Report maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in a check-out room directly to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with and provide reasonable accommodations in response to guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete all required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
