About The Position

The part-time Housekeeper demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates. The position cleans assigned guest rooms according to company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures, and helps maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel housekeeping areas. The associate reports maintenance issues and guest property left in check-out rooms to the front desk or manager on duty, responds to guest requests with reasonable accommodation when practical, and follows safety and security procedures. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and communicate effectively with the manager and staff.
• Ability to follow guidelines and adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements, and company standards and expectations.
• Ability to apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
• Clean assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
• Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or as directed by management.
• Report maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Report guest property left in a check-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
• Assist with and provide reasonable accommodation in response to guest requests whenever possible and practical.
• Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Complete required and annual Extended Stay University training.
• Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
