About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures while demonstrating a strong commitment to providing guests and associates with the best possible experience. The role includes maintaining housekeeping carts, cart rooms, laundry areas, and overall hotel cleanliness; reporting maintenance issues and guest property left in check-out rooms; and responding to guest requests when possible and practical. The position requires following safety and security procedures and completing required and annual Extended Stay University training. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Clean assigned guest rooms according to company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or directed by management.
Report maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in a check-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with and provide reasonable accommodation for guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Comply with safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete all required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
