About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms according to company guidelines and procedures and demonstrating a strong commitment to providing guests and associates with the best possible experience. The role also helps maintain the overall cleanliness of the hotel and supports guest requests when reasonable and practical. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Follow guidelines and meet time objectives, productivity measurements, and other company standards and expectations.
Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or as directed by management.
Report maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in a checked-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with guest requests and provide reasonable accommodations whenever possible and practical.
Comply with safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
