About The Position

The Housekeeper demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates. The role cleans assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures, and helps maintain the cleanliness of the hotel. Housekeepers respond to guest requests when reasonable and practical, follow safety and security procedures, report maintenance issues and guest property found in checkout rooms, and complete required training. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Follow guidelines and meet time objectives, productivity measurements, and other company standards and expectations.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or as directed by management.
Report maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in checkout rooms to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with reasonable guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Comply with safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties assigned by the management team.
