About The Position

The Housekeeper demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing guests and associates with the best possible experience. The role is responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures, while maintaining the cleanliness of hotel work areas and assisting with guest requests when practical. The position also requires compliance with safety and security procedures and completion of required training.

Requirements

No prior experience or training is necessary.
Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines, and communicate effectively with the manager and staff.
Follow guidelines and adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements, and other company standards and expectations.
Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Clean assigned guest rooms according to company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or as directed by management.
Report maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in a check-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with and provide reasonable accommodation for guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Comply with safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including the associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
