About The Position

The Housekeeper demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates. The role is responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures, maintaining housekeeping carts and related areas, responding to guest requests when reasonably possible, and supporting the overall cleanliness of the hotel. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and communicate effectively with the manager and staff.
Follow guidelines and adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements, and similar company standards and expectations.
Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Clean assigned guest rooms in adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or directed by management.
Report maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in a check-out room directly to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with and reasonably accommodate guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
