About The Position

The part-time Housekeeper demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates. The role is responsible for cleaning guest rooms according to company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures, and for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The Housekeeper also maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas; responds to guest requests when reasonable and practical; and follows safety and security procedures. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and communicate effectively with the manager and staff.
Follow guidelines and meet time objectives, productivity measurements, and other company standards and expectations.
Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Clean assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or as directed by management.
Report maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property left in a checked-out room directly to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with and provide reasonable accommodation for guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Comply with safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness and perform other duties assigned by the management team.
