About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Madison in Kansas City, Missouri. The Housekeeper provides housekeeping services for residents to make their living areas comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and keeps shared spaces—including the lobby and employee break room—tidy and orderly. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and pays $17 to $22.75 per hour.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency. The job involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the day, as well as frequently lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds and pushing or pulling a wheeled housekeeping cart. Candidates must be in good physical and mental health and pass the stated health screening and criminal clearance requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Have a positive and energetic attitude and a professional appearance and manner.
• Be physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Have good physical health, verified by a physician-conducted health screening no more than six months before or seven days after employment.
• Test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of the health screening.
• Receive criminal clearance.

Responsibilities
