About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Housekeeper at Barrymore in Kansas City, Missouri. The position pays $17–$22.75 per hour and is scheduled Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Housekeeper provides housekeeping services for residents and keeps shared areas—including the lobby and employee break room—clean, tidy, comfortable, and organized. The role requires a positive, energetic attitude and a professional appearance and conduct. Team members must be physically capable of performing assigned tasks and able to communicate with residents in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency. A health screening and tuberculosis clearance are required, along with criminal clearance. Arrow Senior Living describes a range of employment benefits, with eligibility varying by employment status. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude and a professional appearance and conduct.
Must be active and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Good physical health, verified by a physician-performed health screening no more than six months before or seven days after employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of the health screening.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Provide housekeeping services for residents, keeping their areas comfortable, clean, and cozy.
Keep shared areas, including the lobby and employee break room, tidy and clean, with items in their proper places.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the workday.
Frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
