About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Rushwood in Wichita, Kansas. The role provides housekeeping services that help make residents’ living areas comfortable, clean, and cozy, while keeping other spaces—including the lobby and employee break room—tidy and organized. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $17 to $19.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and a strong interest in serving residents.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Complete a physician-performed health screening no more than six months before or seven days after employment, and test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of screening.
Receive criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide housekeeping services for residents to keep their living areas comfortable, clean, and cozy.
Keep areas such as the lobby and employee break room tidy and clean, with items in their place.
Push and pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
