About The Position

The Housekeeper at The Fitzgerald keeps the community clean and sanitary, helping provide a healthy environment that contributes to the care and welfare of residents and guests. The role delivers exemplary customer service, pays attention to detail, and promotes a warm, secure, and friendly environment. The listed schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position includes cleaning assigned apartments and community rooms, handling linens and cleaning supplies, changing bed linens, and assisting with laundry. Employment offers are subject to successfully completing a drug screen, a job-specific physical, a TB test, and a background check; the company covers the cost of these pre-hire requirements.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of housekeeping experience.
• Basic competency in using multiple forms of technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Successfully pass the pre-employment drug screen, job-specific physical, TB test, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate preferred.
• Experience working in a senior environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned apartments, community rooms, and other areas.
• Carry linens, towels, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
• Change bed linens.
• Assist with resident and community laundry as directed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
