About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. Requirements

• Limited to no experience required.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction calculations.
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and perform scrubbing and washing duties.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms; empty wastebaskets, transport trash to the disposal area, and replenish supplies.
• Conduct walk-arounds of assigned areas to ensure the facility meets housekeeping standards, and keep linen rooms and work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Interact with and assist guests occasionally while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
• Report maintenance repair problems to a supervisor.
• Turn in and log all lost and found items daily.
