Floor Supervisor, Mardi Gras Casino
About The Position
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Floor Supervisor at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. The Floor Supervisor oversees daily operations of the food and beverage areas, leads the food and beverage team, and maintains high levels of customer service for guests. Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, operated by Delaware North since 2018, is located 14 miles west of Charleston, West Virginia. The property features more than 25 table games, a poker room, more than 850 slot machines, live greyhound racing, off-track betting for greyhound and horse racing, several restaurants, and a 150-room hotel.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Produce the food and beverage team member schedule across the gaming floor departments.
- Hire, train, and conduct performance reviews to encourage team members’ growth and development.
- Advise and direct the daily duties of the team.
- Ensure guests visiting the property receive the highest level of customer service.
- Assist team members with malfunctioning gaming equipment and partner with the property’s technician when needed.
