About The Position

Cleans hotel guestrooms and public areas, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways. Performs cleaning tasks to franchise standards and within required timeframes, handles linens, replenishes guest supplies, maintains housekeeping carts and equipment, and supports guest privacy and security. Uses materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and communicates room needs to the maintenance department. Follows Kinseth Hotel Corporation policies and property-specific guidelines, including dress code, safety, and performance standards, maintains a professional image, and reports to work as scheduled.

Requirements

Ability to perform the listed housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly, and climb or balance frequently.
Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Follow safety precautions and company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

Clean guestrooms and public areas, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry hotel linens.
Clean rooms to franchise standards and within required timeframes, including making beds; dusting; washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills; cleaning floors, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, and bathrooms; and emptying wastebaskets and cleaning ashtrays.
Replenish bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, and writing supplies.
Move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets to comply with franchise requirements.
Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replace light bulbs.
Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment.
Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner.
Follow key-control and security policies to protect guests’ privacy and personal belongings while working in guestrooms.
Use materials, chemicals, and tools safely to avoid injury, waste, damage, or accidents.
Communicate room needs to the maintenance department.
Follow KHC policies and procedures and property-specific guidelines, including dress code, safety, and performance standards; maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled.
