About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning resort property units and following MasterCorp’s mission statement and values. The role involves preparing units for inspection and guest stays, reporting maintenance or inventory issues, and supporting resort cleanliness and guest service. The position may also include additional tasks assigned by MasterCorp Management.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Punctuality and timeliness with assignments.
• Passion for cleanliness.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and change behavior.
• Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Strip units of soiled linens and remove trash.
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, decks, and other areas of resort units.
• Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
• Report missing inventory and supplies to the Supervisor.
• Perform weekly guest-services cleans as directed.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
• Attend training sessions and apply the training in practice.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Help resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Maintain urgency so units are turned on time.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
