About The Position
The Housekeeper supports general resort operations by cleaning resort units and maintaining resort quality standards. Duties include cleaning sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and lobbies; vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing; making beds; and following housekeeping detail standards. The Housekeeper replenishes supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries, and sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens. The role also involves maintaining positive relationships with customers and associates, responding appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns, and resolving guest issues to improve the guest experience.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and owners.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude with a team focus.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Clean resort units, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
- Clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies; make beds.
- Maintain and follow housekeeping detail standards and resort quality standards.
- Replenish supplies, including kitchenware and toiletries.
- Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
- Maintain positive customer and associate relationships.
- Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns and resolve guest issues to improve the guest experience.
