About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate, you provide friendly, attentive service to guests from registration through checkout. You welcome guests, guide them through registration, issue unit keys, and share information about the resort and nearby attractions. You also provide room rate quotes, make and confirm individual or group reservations, handle guest inquiries and concerns, process payments, and complete checkout and cashiering procedures. The position is seasonal and part-time at the WorldMark Indio Resort.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, friendly service.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashiering and money-handling responsibilities.
• Complete checkout procedures and verify that charges and credits are correctly reflected in guest folios.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
