About The Position

The Guest Services Associate welcomes guests and provides excellent service throughout their stay, from registration to checkout. The role includes sharing information about the resort and nearby attractions, quoting room rates, and confirming reservations. Associates guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, process payments, balance receipts, verify guest folios, and respond promptly and thoroughly to guest inquiries and concerns. The position is full-time and pays $17 per hour.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly service.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and share information about the resort and local attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashiering and money-handling duties.
• Complete checkout procedures and verify charges and credits on guest folios.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
