About The Position
Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring a seasonal part-time Guest Services Associate at WorldMark Indio Resort. The associate helps make guests’ vacations memorable by providing a warm welcome and excellent service from registration through checkout. The role includes sharing information about the resort and nearby attractions, providing room-rate quotes, and reserving and confirming accommodations. It also involves processing payments, balancing receipts, and ensuring guest folios accurately reflect charges and credits. A strong candidate has been identified for this position.
Requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Basic computer and office skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and share information about the resort and area attractions.
- Process cash and credit-card transactions according to established procedures.
- Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashiering and money-handling responsibilities.
- Complete checkout procedures and verify charges and credits in guest folios.
- Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
- Provide room-rate quotes.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
