Housekeeper (Full And Part Time)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Allied Services Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with days varying. Prior housekeeping experience is required, and training is available. The fixed pay rate is $13.00 per hour. The Housekeeper performs light cleaning to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare establishment. Duties include cleaning floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, washrooms, and glass surfaces; handling trash; making beds and changing linens; arranging furniture and amenities; and responding to guest requests and housekeeping issues. The role also involves providing attentive customer service and working professionally with customers, colleagues, and others. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry and is part of Compass Group. Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service and one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
