Housekeeper (Full And Part Time)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano in Plano, Texas. The role performs light cleaning duties to keep hospital areas clean and orderly, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens, and vacuuming. No prior experience is required; training is available. Evening and overnight shift availability and rotating weekend work are required. The pay range is $16.50 to $18.50 per hour. Housekeepers provide attentive customer service, respond to guest requests and housekeeping problems, and contribute to team efforts with professionalism. Requirements
- No prior experience required; the employer is willing to train.
- Evening and overnight shift availability is required.
- Rotating weekends are required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash sanitarily.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problem calls, including spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
