About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Allied Services Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Housekeeper performs light cleaning duties to keep facilities clean and orderly, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens, and vacuuming. The role requires prior housekeeping experience; training is available. The fixed pay rate is $13.00 per hour. Workdays may vary, with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; additional details are provided during the interview. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry. Team members are expected to deliver detailed, safe, high-quality service, work professionally with customers and colleagues, and contribute to team efforts. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the openings are filled.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience is required.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, quality customer service.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash sanitarily.
Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
Respond to guest queries and requests.
Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
Contribute to team efforts and act professionally with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
