About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Ballad Health–Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. The role performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare environment. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour, and no prior experience is required. This position is contingent on successfully clearing a criminal background check and drug screening after an offer; nicotine testing is not required. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, detail-oriented customer service.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash sanitarily.
Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
Respond to guest queries and requests.
Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
Contribute to team efforts and act professionally with customers, colleagues, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
