About The Position

AC Hotel Medford, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking a motivated and friendly evening-shift housekeeper with an eye for detail. The Housekeeper performs a variety of cleaning activities in accordance with company and brand standards, ensuring assigned guest rooms are clean, stocked, and maintained. The role requires discretion, respect for guest privacy, consistent quality, and the ability to work efficiently with limited supervision.

Requirements

Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper; hotel experience preferred.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Discreet, respectful of guest privacy, and able to work with a high level of integrity.
Consistently perform work to a high standard.
Work quickly without compromising quality.
Work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.
Interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly manner.
Excellent prioritization and time-management skills.
Willingness to work a rotational seven-day work cycle, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Receive assigned room lists from the manager and prioritize rooms.
Clean, stock, and maintain assigned guest rooms according to Colwen and brand cleanliness standards.
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
Check cleaning-cart inventory, replenish supplies, and transport the cart to assigned floors and rooms.
Protect guest privacy, knock and announce before entering rooms, and return later if a room is occupied.
Check and restock room amenities and supplies according to standards.
Make beds and stock bath linens neatly according to standards.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and coffee stations.
Remove trash, dirty linens, towels, and room-service items from rooms.
Check that room appliances are present and in clean working order.
Straighten desk areas and furniture; dust and polish furniture and remove marks or stains from walls and furnishings.
Vacuum carpets and clean floors.
Notify the maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs.
Conduct a final room walk-through to ensure the room meets hotel standards.
Launder soiled linens, which may include loading hotel washers and dryers and folding sheets and towels.
Take found items to the designated lost-and-found area.
Perform other duties as requested.
