About The Position

AC Hotel Medford is seeking a motivated, friendly, detail-oriented Housekeeper to clean, stock, and maintain assigned guest rooms according to Colwen and brand standards. The role includes responding to guest and departmental requests, maintaining cleaning supplies, protecting guest privacy, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring rooms meet hotel standards before completion. The position requires working a rotating seven-day work cycle, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper; hotel experience is preferred.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Discreet and respectful of guest privacy, with the highest level of integrity.
Consistently performs work to a high standard.
Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
Able to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.
Able to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly manner.
Strong prioritization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Receive assigned-room lists from a supervisor and prioritize rooms.
Clean, stock, and maintain assigned guest rooms to company and brand standards.
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
Check cleaning-cart inventory, replenish supplies, and transport the cart to assigned rooms.
Protect guest privacy; knock and announce before entering, and return later if a room is occupied.
Check and restock room amenities and supplies according to standards.
Make beds and stock bath linens according to standards.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and in-room coffee stations.
Remove trash, dirty linens, towels, and room-service items from rooms.
Check that room appliances are clean and working properly.
Straighten desk areas and furniture; dust and polish furniture; remove marks and stains from walls and furnishings.
Vacuum carpets and clean floors.
Notify the maintenance department of needed repairs or maintenance.
Conduct a final walk-around to ensure the room meets hotel standards.
Bring found items to the designated lost-and-found area.
Perform other duties as requested.
