About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning assigned hotel areas according to company standards and within required time frames, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and well-presented environment for guests and staff. This is a physical, hands-on role that supports guest satisfaction through careful attention to cleanliness and detail.

The role also includes replenishing guest and restroom supplies, transporting waste to disposal areas, keeping housekeeping carts and equipment stocked and organized, and greeting guests in a warm, friendly manner. The Housekeeper performs laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing company linen and terry, and helps clean and organize house and commercial laundry areas. The employee must follow safety and security policies and handle materials, chemicals, and tools safely. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs and management requests.

Responsibilities

• Clean guestrooms, the lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facilities, stairways, and other assigned hotel areas according to company standards and required time frames.
• Replenish bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, linen, terry, and other supplies in guest rooms, restrooms, and other areas.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area efficiently and hygienically.
• Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment.
• Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly presence throughout the property.
• Follow safety and security policies to protect personal safety, guests and their belongings, and company property.
• Use materials, chemicals, and tools safely to prevent injury, waste, damage, or accidents.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store company linen and terry as part of House Laundry duties.
• Help clean and organize the House and Commercial Laundry areas.
