About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards when cleaning resort property units and for following the company’s mission statement and values. The role includes cleaning guest rooms and other unit areas, preparing units for inspection, reporting maintenance and inventory concerns, and helping maintain clean, organized storage areas. Housekeepers attend training and help ensure guest issues are addressed promptly and units are turned on time. The job may also include additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Ability to make decisions.
Planning and scheduling capabilities.
Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
Be prompt with assignments.
Passion for cleanliness.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to learn and change behavior.
Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of excellence.
Strip units of soiled linens.
Remove trash from units.
Clean unit areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.
Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
Report missing inventory and supplies to the Supervisor.
Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
Attend all training sessions and apply the training in practice.
Ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in resolving guest complaints promptly.
Maintain urgency so units are turned on time.
Perform additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
