About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning resort property units, following the company’s mission statement and values. The role may also include additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.

The position involves working around odors or dust and cleaning or laundry chemicals. Physical duties include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, occasional ascending and descending, and repetitive motions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Strip units of soiled linens and remove trash.
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, decks, and other areas of units.
• Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
• Report missing inventory and supplies to the Supervisor.
• Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
• Attend training sessions and apply the training in practice.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Help resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Maintain urgency so units are turned on time.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
