About The Position

The Resort Housekeeper ensures all non-gaming areas of Grand River Casino & Resort, including The Bay Cabins, are clean and presentable to the public. This role involves cleaning guest rooms and cabins to company standards within a specific timeframe, managing laundry, properly mixing and storing cleaning chemicals, and maintaining a safe resort environment. The housekeeper also reports any unsafe conditions or necessary repairs to their supervisor and complies with all BSA/AML regulations and training requirements.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal non-gaming license.
Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
Must be physically able to withstand continued walking, standing, and kneeling for periods of 8 hours or more.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to reach overhead.

Responsibilities

Complete all checklists during their shift.
Keep assigned areas of the facility clean and presentable.
Ensure guest rooms and cabins are cleaned and prepared according to company standards, within a certain time frame.
Ensure laundry is washed and folded.
Ensure cleaning chemicals are mixed and stored properly.
Maintain safe Resort conditions for all.
Notify supervisor of unsafe conditions or of any repairs that are needed on the premises.
Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and/or Supervisor.
Comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements.
