About The Position
The Arbors of Shelburne is hiring a full- or part-time housekeeper. The role maintains a safe, clean community for residents, associates, and visitors. Duties include laundering towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, and maintaining resident apartments. The position pays $18–$20 per hour and includes weekend and holiday requirements. The ideal candidate is dedicated to assisting others and takes pride in their work. A high school diploma or GED and experience cleaning residential or commercial settings are preferred; training will be provided. Candidates should understand proper handling practices for biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean assigned resident apartments according to the supervisor’s schedule, including bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and exposed areas.
- Vacuum exposed areas completely, including edges.
- Empty and rinse wastebaskets when necessary.
- Wash the inside of windows as needed.
- Clean common areas to established standards, including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units.
- Clean other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by the supervisor.
- Keep the laundry room clean and orderly.
- Store chemicals according to product instructions or supervisor direction.
- Launder towels, bed linens, and resident laundry.
- Maintain resident apartments.
