About The Position
TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Ascension Neighborhood Emergency Department in Plainfield, Indiana. The position performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare environment, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens, and vacuuming. The role also provides attentive customer service to patients, families, visitors, and other customers, and contributes to a professional, detail-oriented team supporting the mission of Ascension Health hospitals.
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
