About The Position

Quail Ridge is hiring a full-time, year-round Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for members and guests. The role involves scheduled cleaning and housekeeping services, including cleaning guest and member spaces, laundry, ironing, making beds, and deep cleaning. The Housekeeper responds to requests courteously and professionally, communicates with the Manager to ensure requests are fulfilled, and reports maintenance, safety, and security issues promptly. The position also requires following Quail Ridge dress and grooming standards, emergency procedures, traffic signs, and speed limits, and using company equipment and vehicles properly.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Previous cleaning experience required.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• High-energy, guest-service-oriented approach, with the ability to treat guests and members with courtesy and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, members, and coworkers.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and stand, and to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Ability to utilize a gas-powered or electric utility vehicle.
• Knowledge of or ability to use vacuums, irons, and general cleaning products, including all-purpose cleaner, bleach, disinfectant, furniture polish, oven cleaner, and glass cleaner.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a private housekeeping environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scheduled cleaning services and other cleaning functions or requests assigned by the Manager.
• Dust surfaces; wash dishes; vacuum; mop and sweep; clean windows, ovens and stovetops, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Make beds, launder clothes, and iron.
• Thoroughly deep-clean units as required.
• Respond to guest and member requests with courtesy and professionalism, and communicate with the Manager to ensure requests are fulfilled.
• Report maintenance issues and safety or security issues to the Manager immediately.
• Understand and strive toward the goals of the Quail Ridge Mission Statement.
• Follow Quail Ridge dress and grooming standards, emergency procedures, posted traffic signs, and speed limits.
• Use company equipment and vehicles properly.
• Perform other functions as assigned by management.
