About The Position

Taylor Community is seeking motivated, quality-driven carpenters to handle remodeling and home improvement projects across three campuses between Wolfeboro and Laconia. Work includes kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, windows, decks, additions, and full-scale renovations. Carpenters work in and around residents’ homes, where respect, punctuality, and professionalism are essential. The role also involves interacting with residents and receiving training to support the senior population. During weather emergencies, carpenters help with snow removal and other tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Must be punctual and professional when working in residents’ homes.
• Provide a resume with job history listed.
• Candidates must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Select, measure, cut, shape, and join wood materials for framing.
• Repair existing frames.
• Apply drywall, paneling, trim, and other finishes to frameworks.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and carpentry equipment.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and clients.
• Construct structures in compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Work respectfully and professionally in residents’ homes.
• Assist with snow removal and other tasks during weather emergencies.
