Year-Round Landscaper

About The Position

The Landscaper maintains outdoor spaces—including lawns, flower beds, gardens, patios, fountains, and irrigation systems—and monitors and maintains the health of interior plants and planters. The role also performs snow removal from sidewalks, parking lots, roads, and other areas assigned by the Assistant Director of Landscape Services at facilities owned and operated by Genesis Global Group and affiliated companies. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of experience performing landscape maintenance.
Two years of experience operating snow removal equipment.
Valid and insurable driver’s license.
Experience driving larger landscape trucks while towing trailers.
Dependable, responsible, trustworthy, and hardworking, with a good attitude and above-average work ethic and drive.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to safely operate commercial lawn and snow removal equipment.

Responsibilities

Plant, transplant, and care for flowers, plants, trees, and shrubs.
Mow, edge, fertilize, and water lawns.
Trim and prune hedges, trees, and shrubs.
Install fountains, paver patios, fencing, drainage systems, planters, and turf.
Maintain watering systems, clean walkways, and repair fountains.
Establish safe work sites, follow safe work practices, and comply with required codes.
Maintain records of time, materials, and equipment use.
Remove snow using trucks, plows, skid steers, snow blowers, quads, shovels, salt, and calcium chloride.
Assist with transporting, installing, and removing seasonal holiday decorations.
Assist maintenance staff with projects and keep job sites clean and free of debris.
