About The Position

The Housekeeper supports the mission of Ozarks Community Health Center to provide greater access to quality, compassionate, and professional healthcare through its comprehensive health system and community partnerships. The role maintains clean, sanitary, dust-free, and safe environments for patients, residents, visitors, and employees while following prescribed cleaning procedures and OCHC policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write comprehensively.
Pass annual competencies.
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
A current valid driver's license is required for certain shifts.

Nice To Haves

Institutional housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean, sanitary, dust-free, and safe environments for patients, residents, visitors, and employees in accordance with prescribed cleaning procedures and OCHC policies.
Use, clean, and maintain equipment safely.
Initiate project work as needed or as time permits and complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
Maintain knowledge of department chemicals and their correct use, learn new techniques, and demonstrate awareness of safety materials such as MSDS.
Keep cleaning supplies stocked and ensure items are ordered before they run out.
Promptly report unsafe work hazards, broken equipment, or other issues to the housekeeping supervisor or clinic manager.
Complete and submit weekly and monthly checklists established by the housekeeping supervisor.
Fill in at other locations as needed.
Work effectively with staff members across the organization.
Meet OCHC policy and procedure standards for cleanliness in assigned areas.
