HOUSEKEEPER (PART TIME)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Housekeeper at Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The role performs light cleaning to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare establishment. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The position pays $16.50 to $17.25 per hour and is scheduled for three shifts per week, with days varying from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Rotating weekends are required. Requirements
- No prior experience is required; willingness to train.
- Must be able to perform the position's essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, detailed customer service.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash sanitarily.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and act professionally with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
