About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Housekeeper at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The position performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare establishment. The schedule is part time, with days that may vary, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Availability to work every weekend and rotating holidays is required. Prior housekeeping experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry and emphasizes caring for people, safety, detail, and service. The Housekeeper provides attentive customer service, helps maintain rooms and common areas, responds to housekeeping issues and requests, and contributes to team efforts.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience is required.
Availability to work every weekend is required.
Availability to work rotating holidays is required.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
Respond to guest queries and requests.
Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
