About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper / Dining Attendant at Dogwood Terrace by Barclay House. The role combines housekeeping and dining service to help create clean, welcoming spaces and a positive dining experience for residents. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Housekeeping duties include keeping the community clean, safe, and sanitary; cleaning resident rooms, offices, clinical spaces, common areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways; using cleaning products and methods according to procedures and state guidelines; operating and maintaining housekeeping equipment; disposing of trash and hazardous waste appropriately; and replenishing supplies. Dining duties include setting up and breaking down dining areas, keeping them clean and welcoming, setting tables, delivering meals, providing attentive service, clearing tables, washing dishes, and maintaining dining and kitchen service areas. The attendant follows food safety and sanitation guidelines and assists residents to support a pleasant dining experience. The role also involves treating residents, visitors, and team members with warmth and respect and supporting other departments as needed.

Requirements

A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Desire to work with seniors.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping or food service experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain the community in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
Clean resident rooms, offices, clinical spaces, common areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
Use appropriate cleaning chemicals, supplies, and methods in accordance with procedures and state guidelines.
Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment properly.
Transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas.
Replenish cleaning and paper supplies as needed.
Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
Keep dining rooms clean, organized, and welcoming for residents and guests.
Set tables, deliver meals, and provide friendly, attentive service during dining hours.
Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen service areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist residents as needed to ensure a pleasant and comfortable dining experience.
Maintain a warm, respectful, service-oriented approach toward residents, visitors, and team members.
Support team members across departments as needed to ensure a high-quality resident experience.
